Owning the battle rhythm saved me in an ops billet — publish a live calendar with all syncs, suspenses, and POCs and make it the unit’s single source; “if it’s not on the calendar, it doesn’t exist.” It made turnovers painless and got me looped into planning early, though some shops will still want the whiteboard in parallel.
